Clipair’s entire training programme is under the overall supervision of its
Vice President Capt S.N.Datt Air India (Retd). Capt S.N Datt is a very
experienced aviator who started his flying career with the Indian Air Force. After retirement from the IAF he joined Air India and is a commander on Boeing 707, 747 classic, 747-400 and Airbus 310 aircraft. He was also a DGCA approved check pilot on all these aircraft. His flying career of approximately 15,000 hrs is free of any accidents/incidents.

The classrooms at the academy are air-conditioned and equipped with
modern educational aids like overhead projectors, FM mike, computers/laptop etc for instructional. The students have access to Clips’ well stocked library of reference books on aviation, Question and Answer banks, model papers etc. Trainees are encouraged to issue books for further reference after class hours.

During the duration of the course three house-tests would be conducted to prepare the trainee for the D.G.C.A. pattern of examination and gauge his performance. Interactive sessions are also conducted every fortnight with the aim of assessing his progress and counseling him. Individual folders for each trainee is maintained, these would be handed over to him on completion of the course.
